Hey there, I’m Claire Lu.

Welcome to my page😎. I am currently studying technology and innovation at Cornell Tech, and have experiences in building several fintech products. As a finance student at Fisher College of Business during my undergrad, my past roles include equity researcher, strategy consultant, and M&A analyst.

💡Why Learning Tech and Innovation?

My increasing exposure to VCs and startups, as well as my involvement in innovation activities, made me realize that, instead of seeking alpha, I want to create tech products that fulfill human needs and impact our communities.

🌱 Why Now Sustainable Finance？

Technology innovation is important, but capital allocation is the key. Renewable Energy is 1st in cash raised and 5th in median valuation among Series A fundraising in 2023, but current investment levels are nowhere near enough to limit global warming to 1.5 °C by 2050 (Paris Agreement).

🌼 About my future?

I will devote myself to sustainable finance, green tech, and ESG topic research. I have finished Harvard Business School Online Sustainable Investing course, and now preparing CFA ESG Investing certificate. Also, I am an incoming metrics intern at Novata.
